At this fair, I am particularly interested in breathing circuits and laparoscopes supplied by two potential suppliers. I’ll ask for their quotations and samples, and then test these medical devices at hospitals before confirming my orders.”

At this fair, I am particularly interested in disposables such as apparel, gowns, masks and caps for nursing homes, aged care facilities and hospitals. Though the scale of this fair is not very large, I have found what I want here. So far, I have found three potential suppliers of disposables from the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong.”

 “Founded in Australia in 2005, Benson Medical has developed two products namely Snoreben© and MedAir©, which are designed to address the very common problem of chronic snoring and respiratory deficiency. I am introducing these two products to international buyers at the HKTDC Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair 2014. Currently, these two products are sold in Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand and the US. My main objective of joining this fair for the first time is to look for distributors. I am very happy with the results so far. For Snoreben©, I’ll sign an agreement with a distributor in Hong Kong soon and I have also found three other potential distributors from the Chinese mainland, India and Europe. For MedAir©, I have found two potential distributors from Hong Kong and Malaysia. I’ll definitely join this fair again next year.”

We have decided to join this Medical Fair for the first time this year because this fair attracts international buyers. Buyers' responses have been very good. So far, we have met with potential buyers from different countries and regions such as the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, the Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, the UK and Vietnam."

“We have joined this fair regularly to introduce our latest research findings and look for potential partners who will cooperate with us to apply our technologies. This year, we are showcasing Lab-on-a-disc (LOAD) platforms for bioassay automation which feature simplified assay steps, reduced assay time, reduced sample/reagent consumption, compact size and low cost. The new platforms can be applied to cell-based allergy tests, real-time DNA amplification by PCR and whole blood DNA screening. Buyers from the Chinese mainland, Europe, Hong Kong, Korea, the Philippines and Taiwan are very interested in the LOAD platforms and they have made many enquiries.”
