In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, HKTDC Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair 2020, which was originally scheduled from 4 to 6 May 2020, the fair will now take place from 25 to 28 July 2020 in the convenient downtown location of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

To create cross-sector synergy, the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair 2020 will be held concurrently with eight other trade fairs: the HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition), HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition), HKTDC International ICT Expo, HKTDC Hong Kong Houseware Fair, HKTDC Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair, HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week, HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair and the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair.

| HKSAR Government Convention and Exhibition Industry Subsidy Scheme |
|
|
| |
The HKSAR Government has announced the launch of the Convention and Exhibition Industry Subsidy Scheme on 21 February. Any company - local or overseas, large or small - will be subsidised 50% of its participation fee, subject to a cap of HK$10,000 and this will only apply to the fairs organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
The Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair 2020 is covered under this subsidy scheme. The subsidy will be deducted from the participation fee directly.
